Once you’ve downloaded the app and entered your profile information, the next step toward better health is to get into the habit of logging every bit of food that you eat.

To log your first food, tap on the “+Add food” of the meal where you want to start logging your foods (make sure that you are on the calorie counter page, the third tab of the app).

Then, you will have the option to search for foods on the public database of the app or create your own foods with the nutritional information provided by you.

  • To manually create a food, tap the “+” icon at the top right
  • To search in the public database of the app, write the search term on the search box and select the option “Search in the library” (this will appear after you have entered the search term)

Once you have created or located the food that you want to log, the next step is to select the serving size and finally, tap “Add” to add the selected serving size to your food’s diary.

You will see that the progress bars of calories and macros will be updated reflecting the contribution of the added food. Now you will have to repeat the process to add all your consumed foods. This might seem slow at first, but once you have added a food once, it will be saved to your recent foods to quickly select it the next time. Adding the same foods again will only take you a few seconds.
