Adding exercise to your diary can increase your macro goals for the day. Your caloric goal is increased when you add exercise, then the macro goals are also increased to match up those goals.
The advantage of automatic adjustment is that you no longer have to calculate the nutrients you should consume based on the additionally-available calories. This will automatically be calculated.
On the Plus version of the app, you can choose whether you’d like the app to consider burned calories or not when calculating your remaining calories and nutritional values. Follow the next steps to decide to increase or not calorie goals when you add exercises:
- Open the settings menu of the app (top right gear icon)
- Select “Advanced“
- Enable or disable the option “Exercise increase goals“
